What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Litigation Attorney position at LHH?
I am currently working with a collegial Portland firm with a well‑respected Toxic Torts group that is actively seeking a litigator with 3 years’ experience to join its team in Portland, OR. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive environment with very low turnover and strong mentorship from shareholders.
The Work:
- Defend clients in toxic tort and other litigation matters
- Handle a significant volume of depositions and related discovery
- Draft pleadings, motions, and conduct fact investigation and legal research
- Collaborate with shareholders and colleagues across offices (Portland and California)
- Build long‑term client relationships with an eye toward partnership track opportunities
You Bring:
- Oregon Bar Membership (California Bar a plus)
- 3 years of litigation experience
- Strong deposition skills and comfort managing discovery
- Stable employment history and interest in long‑term partnership potential
- Accredited law school graduate with solid academic foundation
You Get:
- Base salary range: $125,000 – $170,000 DOE
- Substantial bonus potential based on hours and performance
- Billable hour target of 1700 (with reduced tracks available)
