**MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE WITH COST ACCOUNTING IS A MUST**
ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
$125-140K
- Annual Bonus
- 3 weeks PTO, 10 holidays

- Growth path to Controller if desired within 1-2 years. Hiring this role specifically for Succession planning and to accommodate company growth
Reports to: Plant Controller
Challenges: Going through so much growth; Will do a Software implementation within the year
Hours/Schedule: 730-500 is a typical day, quarter end can be 55-60 hours for 1-2 weeks.
This job:
- Hands on Leadership role with ownership of the GL, FP&A, and Costing.
- Standard monthly J/Es, more complex inventory J/Es, accruals, G/L reconciliations
- Supports Financial Statement Preparation
- Oversight of A/R processes, review
- Cost Accounting – all Standard Cost
- Very involved in Budget, Forecasting, Financial Analysis functions
We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive experience is required
- Manufacturing industry experience is a must
- Standard Cost Accounting knowledge
- Variance Analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience – must have
- CPA or CMA is nice to have
- SOX environment experience – no findings in the last year
- US PERSON (Citizen or Greencard holder) by ITAR standards
