Office Location: Kent, WA

Position Title: Assistant Controller
Compensation: $110k to $150k DOE
each quarter a 6% to 12% bonus
- 3 weeks of paid time off 10 holidays 1 community service day
- 401k with up to 2% match and 4% employer contribution

Reports to: VP of Finance
Team Description: This is a highly collaborative role.
Hours/Schedule: 7:30am to 4:30pm. ok to flex /- 1 hour
Systems: Syteline, Power BI, SQL, Excel
Challenges: Learning as quick as possible so you're ready for the next promotion. By design you should be ready for the next promotion in ~3 years.
Other: Due to the Department of Defense contracts you must be a "US PERSON" for this role. On a quarterly or semi annual basis there will be some travel to other locations for training.
This job:
- Month End Close.
- Budgeting/Forecasting.
- Improving financial reporting to leaders across the board.
- Presentation of financial results and recommendations to leaders.
We are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years of manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting
- 2 or more years of staff management experience
- A high achieving individual who is a natural leader and positioned for growth.
- Solid foundation in Accounting and excited to learn FP&A
- Tech savvy, excited to use Power BI
- Confidence with public speaking
- Natural leader
- Ability to relocate out of state to continue a steep growth path
- US Person - this is due to the government contracts.
