Accounts Payable Administrator
LHH is assisting with a search for an AP Administrator for Client in Kansas City, MO. This role will be working on-site and contract-to-hire with pay starting at $20/hour and going up based on experience. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of HIGH VOLUME Accounts Payable experience (around 100 invoices processed/day) and experience with manual AP processing. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with vendors, employees, and accounting team throughout the month to ensure 100% of the invoices for the assigned vendors/suppliers are posted by the last day of each month.
- Maintain Accounts Payable electronic document storage files by scanning and indexing invoices within 5 business days of entry into the AP module.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries relating to payment status and provide supporting documentation.
- Contact suppliers for missing invoices
- Assist with special projects, administration, and reporting as needed.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- HS Diploma-required! Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting-preferred
- A least 1-2 years of HIGH VOLUME (80-100 invoices/day) accounts payable experience
- Manual AP processing
- Excel skills – above average – formulas, pivot tables
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent self-management as well as project management skills
- Great attention to detail and superior organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site
