What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role will oversee core accounting functions. Successful candidates will have CPA, manufacturing industry experience, and SAP ERP experience with strong supervisory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounting and lead the month-end close process.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations.
- Ensure accuracy in accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor a team, providing leadership and development (2–3 years supervisory experience required).
- Partner with internal teams and FP&A to support business decisions and reporting.
- Serve as a key contributor to audit preparation and compliance.
- Support ERP system enhancements; SAP experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- CPA preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong Supervisory
- Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with large data sets and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Compensation:
$100,000-$110,000
