Senior Information Architect (Contract - Remote)

$45-$55/hr (W2), full-time, 40 hrs/week

Step into a high-impact, cross-functional role supporting major digital initiatives for one of the most recognized outdoor retail brands. As a Senior Information Architect, you'll shape metadata, taxonomy, navigation, and findability strategies that power exceptional customer experiences across digital channels.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity offering meaningful visibility across Digital Retail, Personalization, SEO, Editorial, and more.

What You'll Do

• Build and evolve metadata schemas, taxonomies, and ontologies
• Define and optimize navigation and wayfinding across digital properties
• Lead content modeling supporting dynamic and personalized content delivery
• Partner with SEO, Editorial, and Digital Retail teams to drive structure, clarity, and relevance
• Analyze customer behavior, conduct usability testing, and translate insights into IA improvements
• Support Peak28 initiatives, including Green Vest expertise amplification, personalization at scale, and recommendations refinement

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in information architecture for large digital ecosystems
• Expertise in taxonomy, metadata, ontology governance, and content modeling
• Experience with tools like SQL, SPARQL, SmartLogic Semaphore, ContentStack, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and ease working cross-functionally
• Comfortable in an Agile environment
