What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position at Ledgent?
We are partnering with a well-established organization in the 80112 area to identify a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning the full accounting cycle and can operate independently while supporting leadership with accurate financial reporting.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing the full scope of accounting in a fast-paced environment.
This position is paying between $25/hr and $28/hr depending on experience.
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records (if applicable)
- Maintain and monitor cash flow and budgets
- Prepare and submit sales and use tax filings
Qualifications
- 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and full-cycle accounting
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar required)
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, data organization)
- Experience handling payroll and tax filings preferred
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting functions
