A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate I to support daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
This position is responsible for picking and processing orders, loading and unloading trucks, receiving and inspecting shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and operating material-handling equipment. The ideal candidate has previous forklift and warehouse experience, works well in a team environment, and can safely perform physically demanding duties.Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries accurately and promptly.
- Pick, pack, process, and prepare customer and transfer orders for shipment.
- Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for condition, quantity, and accuracy.
- Identify, separate, and report damaged, defective, or rejected products.
- Record and report internal inventory movements.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and accuracy.
- Monitor warehouse supplies and request replenishment when needed.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper warehouse records.
- Assist with routine maintenance and emergency repair needs involving warehouse equipment.
- Investigate shipping, inventory, and order-processing discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized warehouse using 5S practices.
- Follow environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete required training and maintain applicable equipment certifications.
- Report safety, quality, or operational concerns to warehouse management.
- Assist employees, contractors, and visitors while they are on warehouse property.
- Participate in warehouse, departmental, and company meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- One to two years of warehouse or forklift experience.
- Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
- Understanding of shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective time-management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards.
- Ability to complete required training and maintain equipment certifications.
- Current forklift certification.
- Previous shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience operating high-reach trucks or order-selection equipment.
