Temporary Benefits Administrator

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is seeking a temporary benefits specialist for an assignment with one of our legal clients,

Pay Rate: $

Location: Hybrid schedule, 3 days in office DC/two days at home

Hours:  9-5:30 with an hour lunch break; ability to work OT as needed

Duration: 1-3 months with the possibility of full-time hire

Job Description

Our client, top law firm is hiring for a temporary benefits specialist to utilize knowledge of the firm benefits programs and procedures to effectively administer the firm’s core benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure assigned projects are on schedule and status information regarding the progress of each project is reported in a timely manner
• Conduct research, gather data, and disseminate information for and on behalf of department personnel.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of law firm experience
• Minimum of three years of work experience in benefits program development and coordination required
• Knowledge of benefits plans and employment laws
• Knowledge of data gathering, analytical review of information and making sound recommendations on benefits program design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills, and the ability to learn the firm’s systems and databases
• Knowledge of SharePoint or other web design program, HRIS and database software, preferably Ceridian Dayforce
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect data of records and other sensitive information
• Ability to work under pressure, meet frequent deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks
