Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney at the Senior Associate level to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong, hands-on experience handling complex commercial litigation matters and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a full caseload of commercial litigation matters across all stages, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Develop case strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients
- Draft and argue substantive motions and appear in court as needed
- Conduct depositions, manage discovery, and oversee case progression
- Collaborate with partners and junior attorneys while maintaining significant autonomy
Qualifications
- 5–9 years of legitimate commercial litigation experience (required)
- Strong experience managing cases independently
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex business disputes
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Trial experience or significant courtroom exposure preferred
- Licensed and in good standing in [Insert State]
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 – $210,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
