What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Architect position at Largeton Group?
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture, data models, and data pipelines.
- Establish data standards, governance, and best practices across multiple platforms.
- Work closely with business, analytics, and engineering teams to convert requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Architect and optimize data solutions on cloud platforms (primarily Azure, also AWS) with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Optimize data storage, integration, and processing frameworks (including ETL/ELT processes).
- Ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize strong experience in data architecture/modeling (both dimensional and relational).
- Work hands-on with SQL, ETL tools, and big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Leverage experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse).
- Apply knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
- (Preferred) Bring experience from the retail domain and exposure to real-time/streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Event Hub).
