Job Summary Senior Network Engineer (Bristol, CT)
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching infrastructure (Nexus, Catalyst, ASR) for high-performance IP networks.
- Support and maintain BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and HSRP/VRRP protocols in a real-time, low-latency production environment.
- Configure and troubleshoot multicast technologies (IGMP, PIM-SM, SSM) to support real-time media and broadcast workflows.
- Troubleshoot network issues such as packet loss, jitter, and routing instability, especially during live events.
- Collaborate closely with broadcast engineering and production teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Support change management processes and participate in live network cutovers.
- Utilize strong hands-on Cisco experience, particularly with Nexus and Catalyst platforms, in a production environment.
- (Preferred) Bring experience in broadcast/media networks, with exposure to SMPTE ST 2110, spine-leaf architectures, and QoS tuning for video traffic.
- Work onsite in Bristol, CT, as part of a 12-month engagement.
Salary : $60 - $65
