Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and efficiently
- Operate the hotel phone system, transferring calls and taking messages as needed
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with guest services such as booking reservations, providing recommendations, and arranging transportation
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with international guests
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices
