Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of r commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure hygiene and safety.
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely while moving furniture, supplies, or equipment to facilitate efficient cleaning workflows.
• Maintain detailed cleaning schedules and manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated periods.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet cleaners for optimal results.
• Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling, outdoor work (if applicable), and the use of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures.
• Expertise in floor cleaning techniques including tile, hardwood, carpet care, and floor polishing.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and implementation of health regulations within various settings.
• Ability to perform outdoor work when necessary, maintaining cleanliness around exterior areas.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client locations.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, surface cleaning agents, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle custodial tasks with attention to detail while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour
