Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc. Description of Position
Working collaboratively with and under the general supervision of the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), with direction from the Registered Nurse (RN). Performs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care delivered to assigned residents in accordance with established standards of nursing practice as delineated by Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc.
Qualifications and RequirementsGraduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing, or completion of an organized course of study approved by the Board of Licensing for the State of Hawaii required, with current licensure in the State of Hawaii. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Level C required, with retraining once every two years. Experience in long-term care unit and in meeting Ombudsman Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) requirements preferred; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.
