Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position
Responsible for monitoring and providing protection and security for Kuakini Health System’s buildings, assets, premises, employees, patients and visitors by patrolling hospital premises and responding to incidents.
Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma, or equivalent, required. Hawaii Guard Employee (GDE) License required. Certification by International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) preferred . Some work experience in safety and security desired; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Heartsaver AED certification required, with retraining once every two years.
