Compensation: $22–$24 per hour (no commission)
Job Summary:
The Automotive Service BDC Manager / Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the service department’s Business Development Center. This position focuses on driving service traffic, tracking key performance metrics, and upholding process discipline across the department. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional follow-through, strong communication discipline, and the ability to lead a results-driven team. This role also offers potential for advancement into higher fixed operations leadership positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the BDC team to consistently achieve appointment and show rate targets
- Ensure strict adherence to call, text, and follow-up standards
- Analyze daily performance data (set %, show %, RO conversion) and refine strategies to improve outcomes
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to address traffic recovery, missed opportunities, and drive time optimization
- Enhance CSI scores through proactive customer follow-up and ownership
- Maximize all OEM digital programs
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience within a Service BDC environment
- Strong accountability mindset with a focus on daily KPI-driven performance
- Comprehensive understanding of service scheduling processes and advisor/dispatch efficiency
- Demonstrated excellence in follow-through and communication discipline
Preferred:
- Familiarity with DealerFX, Xtime, and Automate systems is highly valued
