About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development & Public Relations Manager to serve as the bridge between our medical weight loss clinic and the Greater Pasadena community. You'll build awareness, create partnerships, and drive new patient growth through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
This role is pivotal in expanding our company's market presence and the ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of customer relationship management tools. As a key player in our organization, you will develop and execute strategic plans to identify new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals.
- Manage the New Client sales pipeline using CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead negotiations to secure new contracts and expand existing accounts
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business growth
- Coordinate cross-functional teams on projects related to new business initiatives
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and reports for executive management
- Monitor industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and threats
Community Outreach & Brand Awareness
- Ensure our clinic, staff, and materials always present a polished, professional image.
- Build relationships with local businesses, community leaders, churches, health organizations, and other groups who share our wellness mission.
- Plan and execute PR campaigns that introduce our services to new audiences and strengthen our reputation in the community
Patient Acquisition & Engagement
- Promote our introductory services and welcome new prospective patients
- Guide new patients from initial services into our full range of weight loss and wellness programs
- Establish outreach partnerships (gyms, churches, local businesses, etc.) that serve as referral points and extend our reach into new audiences
Community Impact & Referral Growth
- Collect and share patient success stories to build trust and credibility throughout the community
- Develop and manage a referral program that makes it easy for happy patients to recommend us to friends and family
Duties

Qualifications
Required
- Proven track record of success in business development, public relations, or community outreach with documented, measurable results
- Expert-level knowledge of social media marketing across major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and agentic AI systems to automate and optimize inbound and outbound marketing campaigns
- Strong personal commitment to health and wellness—you'll be a visible representative of our brand and should embody the lifestyle we promote
- Polished, professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who thrives working independently while collaborating with a small, dynamic team
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, medical aesthetics, or fitness industries
- Existing network of contacts in the Greater Pasadena area
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

- Base salary: $60K annually
