About The Role
Kitsap Credit Union is searching for a SharePoint 365/M365 Administrator. At Kitsap Credit Union, our success is built on secure, reliable information systems that empower our employees to serve our members. The SharePoint 365 and M365 Administrator is responsible for the administration, integration, and maintenance of the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, with an emphasis on SharePoint Online. This role manages our enterprise SharePoint environment, ensures seamless integration with our HRIS and ITSM systems, and supports Microsoft 365 licensing, identity, and collaboration tools. This position works closely with the IT Infrastructure and Help Desk teams to ensure end-user productivity, security, and compliance across the credit union’s technology environment.

Principal Accountabilities
- Administer and maintain SharePoint Online hub site and subsites, including structure, permissions, templates, workflows, and integration with enterprise applications such as Active Directory, UKG and TeamDynamix.
- Partner with departments across the organization to configure and maintain SharePoint solutions for collaboration, document management, and workflow automation.
- Define and enforce SharePoint governance policies to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practices.
- Manage Microsoft 365 licensing assignments, user groups, and role-based access controls.
- Provide administration of M365 services including OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, and Office apps.
- Monitor tenant health and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and credit union policy.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint and M365 issues, providing Tier 2/3 support for escalations from the Help Desk.
- Document administrative procedures, create internal knowledge base content, and train IT staff on M365 features as needed.
- Monitor capacity, usage trends, and adoption of M365 services; provide recommendations for optimization and growth planning.
- Assist in disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning for M365 workloads.
- Coordinate with external vendors and Microsoft support when necessary for escalated issues or integrations.
- Other work duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including licensing, groups, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
- Experience with identity and access management, including role-based security and compliance. Familiarity with SharePoint integrations to enterprise applications (HRIS, ITSM, or similar).
- Excellent technical troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SharePoint Online administration in an organizational environment of 300 users.
- Certifications: ITIL v4 required or obtained within the first year.
- Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate or SharePoint certifications strongly preferred.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Information Technology or a related discipline strongly preferred.
