About The Role
Kitsap Credit Union is searching for an Information Technology Manager. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for managing the infrastructure team, organizational projects, and hardware refresh cycles. This position collaborates with departments and managers across the organization to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support growth and operational excellence solutions.

Principal Accountabilities
- Manage IT projects with cost/benefit analysis and well-defined plans including procedures, documentation, deadlines, and accountability.
- Oversee the design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of on-premise and cloud server environments in Azure.
- Oversee business system application upgrades, conversions, and technology requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business and systems requirements to recommend and implement technology solutions.
- Develop and update IT processes, controls, plans, and other documentation.
- Contribute to IT Governance and other committees.
- Develop requests for proposals, negotiate, administer, and manage vendor and consultant contracts, service agreements, and effective relations.
- Assist in development of IT capital and operational budgets.
- Lead cadence of disaster recovery testing of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Manage IT operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation; resolving problems; and implementing change.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of all relevant industry standards.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of best practices for IT infrastructure and service management.
- Must be proficient in the MS Office 365 Suite of software.
- Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure concepts and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have initiative, be resourceful, and able to work independently without a lot of guidance.
- Strong drive to provide excellent customer service and experience, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks, stakeholders, budget, and time.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of engagement and active collaboration contributing to a positive team environment.
- Understand, model, and represent KCU’s core values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three or more years managerial experience supervising others.
- ITIL v4 certification required or obtained within six months.
- Information Security practices and Security Incident Management, IT infrastructure planning and development.
- Five or more years managerial experience supervising others in an IT environment.
This position supervises others and is responsible for being results oriented, collaborative, delegating effectively, and embracing the organization’s core values, ensuring team effectiveness.
