The Lead Teacher plays a pivotal role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Infant Lead Teacher: Responsible for providing responsive, individualized care for infants, establishing secure attachments, maintaining consistent routines, and creating a calm environment that supports early sensory and motor development.
Pre-K Lead Teacher: Responsible for implementing a structured, age-appropriate curriculum for children ages 4 to 5, preparing them for kindergarten through hands-on learning, early literacy, problem-solving, and social skill development.
Lead Teachers collaborate closely with families to ensure individualized care and learning plans that respect each child’s unique needs and background. This role also includes supervising assistant teachers and maintaining full compliance with all regulatory and safety standards within the classroom.
Ultimately, the Lead Teacher establishes a strong foundation for lifelong learning in a warm, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment.

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
Associate’s Degree
Bachelor’s Degree
60 college credits, including 6 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
