Overview
Kiddie Academy of Gurnee is seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Assistant Director to lead our childcare program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children.
As the Assistant Director, you will oversee daily operations, conduct tours and conversion of enrollment, manage staff, focuses on retention of families and staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while promoting a positive learning atmosphere for both children and educators.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities.
- Foster relationships with parents, families, and the community to promote engagement and communication.
- Conduct tours and convert them into enrollment.
- Supervise and support childcare staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor the health and safety standards of the facility, ensuring a safe environment for all children.
- Manage budgets, resources, and materials necessary for effective program operation.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback from staff, parents, and students.
Education & Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education Administration or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members.
