Kforce has a client that is seeking a UAT Tester in Maryland Heights, MO. Essential Functions:
- Mobile testing with real devices looking at the Customer and Agent experience
- Full end to end UI testing
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations
- Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems
- Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff
- Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues
- Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables
- Fast-paced environment

- Very visible projects
- Monthly deployment with a 3-week testing cycle each month
- Daily test execution goals are set and expected to be met or exceeded
- Create test cases and use cases based on requirements written by other teams
- Defect triage is done per project
- 10-12 projects per month
- Testing for current cycle and preparation for next cycle to be done at the same time
- Learning the product, environments, business structure, expectations, goals, process, reporting, etc.
- Shadow training with a seasoned member of the team
- Hands on learning and execution during testing cycle
- Patience with a willingness to learn at the pace given
- Manual testing experience
- HP ALM
- Test case creation and execution from requirements
- Self-starter- not much guidance
- Excellent verbal and written communication - they write their own defects that goes into a report that 150 people view daily, and is reviewed on a call weekly by VP's
- Confidence-they will have to speak to their defects and give demos to the learning and development team as needed- they are not heads down testers
- Taking requirements and verify - Need to know what questions to ask to be able to create test cases
- Needs to be able to present on the fly to senior leadership
- Team oriented person with the ability to work 'heads down' on their project when needed
