Kforce has a client in Midvale, UT that is seeking a Software Engineer (Java/Angular). As a Software Engineer, you will design and build scalable, secure digital experiences across multiple platforms while collaborating closely with product, design, and business partners. Summary: Our client has an opportunity for a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Java and Angular/JavaScript experience to join a Digital Strategy team focused on expanding digital and mobile banking capabilities using modern technologies. This role supports high-visibility, entrepreneurial initiatives backed by the scale and stability of a large financial institution. This is a hybrid role based in the Salt Lake City area, with an expectation of onsite collaboration several days per week. Responsibilities:

- Develop full-stack solutions using Java, Angular, and related technologies
- Design and integrate internal and external APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and SDLC activities
- Write clean, well-documented code; perform code reviews and follow secure coding best practices
- Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Create reusable components and templates to support business objectives
- Document and demo features for stakeholders
- Model and document application, data, and process flows (UML/BPMN a plus)
- Research and recommend modern tools, frameworks, and platform enhancements
- Support cloud-based solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of Java development experience
- 3 years of Angular experience
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform from a development/build perspective (2 years)
- Experience with GitHub and modern CI/CD practices
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Able to work a hybrid schedule (approximately 3 days onsite per week)
