Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking an Azure Data Cloud Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7 years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering
- Excellent communicator
- Expert collaborator
- Continuous learner
- Mentor and coach to the team's data engineering associates
- Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning
- Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)
- Experience working with large data sets
- Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development
- Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
- Familiarity with large complex system design
- Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus
- Shell scripting experience
- Linux environment experience
- Financial services experience preferred
