Summary: As a key member of the Learning & Development team, the Training Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance, and contribute to organizational success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and training. Responsibilities:

- Contribute to training material development: Work with other L&D staff, Quality, Operations, and others as needed to create training materials for production employees; Tailor training methods to the needs of the manufacturing environment
- Conduct Training Sessions: Lead and facilitate training sessions, focusing on knowledge and skills needed to perform safely and effectively in a production environment
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs; Use feedback and performance data to refine training techniques and materials
- Coordinate with Production Managers: Work closely with production managers and supervisors to identify specific training needs; Ensure that training programs are aligned with current production goals and practices
- Maintain Training Records: Keep detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness; Use LMS to set up class calendars and sessions, and update learner transcripts
- High School diploma or GED required
- Degree or certification in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred
- Experience in a training role within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to build relationships and positively influence others
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
