Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Accountant. Summary: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis across assigned business areas. This role will play a key part in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and driving actionable insights for leadership. This position will be in the St. Louis, MO area hybrid, 3 days in office, and 2 days remote flexibility can be discussed. Compensation and benefits are good, clear path for advancement and other company perks. Duties:

- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and explain key variances to leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to provide real-time insights that drive decisions
- Analyze performance across business units, products, and customers
- Support audit, tax, and regulatory reporting initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency
- Mentor junior staff and help elevate team performance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2 years of experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge; CPA is a plus
- Analytical mindset with the ability to connect numbers to strategy
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
- Strong communicator who can influence and collaborate across teams

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
