Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Cloud Engineer. Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality, timely, efficient and maintainable software solutions in a fast paced environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
- Actively contribute to the design and implementation of engineering practices such as code and design reviews, cloud strategy, and build and deployment pipelines
- Work with product owner, squad lead and architecture on a frequent, recurring basis to design and influence technical improvements to the platform, team, and direction
- Investigate creative practices and decide how to apply them within the team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- 5 years of development experience
- Proficient in Java, SQL and have proven expertise with AWS
- Development experience with web application frameworks such as Spring Boot, Production experience with Kubernetes and Serverless on AWS
- Previous exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology is strongly preferred
- Thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly and actively contributing to how work gets completed
- Able to act independently under general direction
- Experience with event driven and service-oriented processing
- Proven work experience with cloud technologies
