RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Cloud Engineer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS
- Very strong understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM
- Expertise and hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins
- Proven knowledge and experience of building and managing cloud platforms (i.e. Kubernetes with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Hands on experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and support
- Experience in designing, creating and deploying automated processes to install, upgrade and rehydrate MQ platforms, such as Artemis MQ and IBM MQ, in public cloud environment
- Excellent analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages
- Experience with on-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Very strong technical capability and passionate about learning new technologies and cloud trends
- Experience and willingness to work in globally distributed agile teams
