Logistics Compliance Specialist (Direct Hire | Hybrid
Location: Farmington, CT (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm
Salary: $78,000 – $100,000 based on experience

Position Overview
KELLY is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Compliance Specialist to support and strengthen import/export compliance across our global logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while mitigating operational and reputational risk. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement import/export compliance policies and procedures
- Audit and maintain SOPs aligned with U.S. Customs, EAR, and ITAR regulations
- Lead and support compliance audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and support CTPAT programs and validations
- Ensure proper documentation for export-controlled shipments
- Identify risks, investigate issues, and drive corrective actions
- Analyze and apply Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications
- Train and support internal teams on compliance standards
- Partner cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, and operations teams
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain compliance and import/export operations
- Experience in manufacturing or global shipping environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of CTPAT, EAR, ITAR, and U.S. Customs regulations
- Working knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS)
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAP experience preferred
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
