Cost Analyst (Manufacturing)

We’re partnering with a growing food manufacturing company in Commerce, CA that is looking to add a Cost Analyst to their plant leadership team.

This is a high-impact role supporting both finance and operations, with visibility into plant performance, cost structure, and decision-making.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze plant performance, labor, scrap, and inventory costs
• Provide operational reporting and insights to leadership
• Support month-end close and financial forecasting
• Drive cost control and efficiency improvements
• Lead annual budgeting and standard costing processes
• Partner with operations on cost reduction initiatives
• Support capital planning and ROI analysis
• Maintain and improve costing accuracy and internal controls

(This is not just a reporting role — you’ll be expected to challenge the business and drive performance.)

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of cost accounting / financial analysis in manufacturing
• Food, beverage, or CPG experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems (Business Central, SAP, or similar)
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Highly analytical with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
