Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with the month-end close process, including compiling and analyzing financial information
- Apply US GAAP principles related to accruals, prepaids, and other accounting activities
- Support year-end audit and tax requests
- Assist with internal control documentation and testing
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and business needs
- Assist with special projects, ad hoc reporting, and analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with US GAAP and accrual accounting
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, or similar is a plus
- Manufacturing or consumer products experience is preferred
