KBW Financial Staffing is leading a search for an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead and oversee all accounting operations for a $20 million services company on the New Hampshire Seacoast. This position is responsible for managing the day to day accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining effective internal controls, and providing financial guidance that supports business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including coordination of external audit activities.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to leadership to support operational and business decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal control processes.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including the general ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to establish, monitor, and report on financial metrics and key performance indicators.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and overall financial planning activities.
- Ensure account reconciliations are completed accurately and timely to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Demonstrated success as a Controller or in a similar accounting leadership position.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control best practices.
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced education or professional certifications are a plus.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
