This position will have broad responsibility within the accounting group including financial reporting, general accounting and oversight of accounting staff.

Responsibilities
- Manage and develop members of the accounting team
- Coordinate monthly accounting and reporting activities
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Provide oversight of general ledger and transactional accounting functions
- Maintain accurate financial records and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with annual audit and tax requirements
- Work with other departments to research and resolve accounting issues
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls
- Participate in accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous experience supervising or managing accounting staff
- Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and month-end accounting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a growing and changing environment
