Payroll Manager

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered Industrial Services Company in their search for a Payroll Manager. This position will be remote and it will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Run full-cycle payroll for ~350 employees across 40 states
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with payroll regulations
• Manage payroll taxes, filings, and year-end reporting
• Partner with Accounting on reconciliations and payroll entries
• Improve payroll processes, controls, and reporting
• Act as payroll SME and resolve complex issues
• Support audits and maintain documentation
• Help scale and optimize the payroll function
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of payroll experience (full-cycle)
• Multi-state payroll experience required
• Payroll system experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance
• Experience with payroll accounting
• Process improvement mindset
• Canadian payroll exposure is a plus
  
  

Compensation: $100k – $135k DOE
