Financial Operations Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing Salem, NH that is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join their team. This is a highly visible position supporting Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Operations with a strong focus on financial reporting, reconciliations, billing operations, margin analysis, and operational process support.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience working within fast-paced financial operations environments.

Responsibilities Include

• Review orders for pricing, margin accuracy, and billing compliance
• Perform reconciliations related to service orders, engineering hours, costing sheets, and invoicing activity
• Support billing workflows including staff augmentation billing, third-party services billing, and consumption-based invoicing
• Assist with financial reporting including booked sales, costing analysis, invoiced revenue, deferred revenue, and profitability reporting
• Track contracts, change orders, invoicing activity, and usage validation
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify discrepancies, reporting gaps, and process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams
  
  

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience within finance operations, accounting, financial analysis, or related environments
• Strong reconciliations, reporting, and financial data validation experience
• Exposure to billing, invoicing, payment operations, or revenue-related workflows
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, charts, and complex formulas
• Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  
  

Compensation is up to $65k DOE. After training a hybrid structure will be available.
