High-growth, tech-driven company is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across the U.S. and Canada. This is a hands-on role with ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to streamline and scale processes.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle payroll for ~300 U.S. 100 Canadian employees
- Process semi-monthly payroll (bonus, commissions, equity, adjustments)
- Handle all payroll filings (941s, W-2s, T4s, etc.) and ensure compliance
- Manage payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting for close
- Administer benefits (401k, enrollments, audits)
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and HR
- Manage 1 direct report (Canada)
- Drive process improvements and system optimization
- 5 years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience (200 employees)
- Exposure to Canadian payroll (hands-on or willing to learn)
- ADP Workforce Now required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong compliance, reconciliation, and reporting experience
- PCP certification, Deel/EOR exposure, international payroll – nice to have
