This is a broad role combining vendor management, purchasing, risk management, insurance, contract support, and process improvement.
The good faith compensation range is $120,000 - $140,000 DOE.

Responsibilities
- Manage organizational insurance programs and support ongoing risk assessment and mitigation efforts
- Analyze claims, exposure, and loss information to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Develop and manage vendor sourcing and bidding processes, including evaluating proposals and negotiating pricing and terms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, insurance partners, and other external stakeholders
- Support contract review and ensure purchasing and vendor agreements meet organizational requirements
- Develop and maintain procedures, guidelines, and training related to risk management and purchasing
- Partner with internal departments and leadership to improve purchasing practices, manage risk, and support efficient operations
- Manage budgets and reporting related to insurance, procurement, and organizational risk
- Research regulations, policies, and other requirements and help ensure compliance
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on vendor, purchasing, insurance, and risk-related matters
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 5 years of experience in procurement, risk management, insurance, vendor management, or a related field
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing vendors and service providers
- Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations based on risk and financial information
- Strong understanding of contracts, compliance, and risk management practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Insurance or risk management certification is a plus
