KBW is working exclusively with a Publicly Traded Manufacturing company on a search for a Manager of Internal Controls (SOX) and Technical Accounting. This is a newly created position and will be highly visible. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to transition out of Public Accounting into Industry. The role is responsible for:
- Research and review technical accounting matters on transactions, including Revenue Recognition, Lease Accounting, Stock Compensation and other matters
- Research new GAAP Pronouncements and impact on company
- Prepare SOX documentation and narratives
- Enhance documentation on process flows, narratives, risk and controls
- Partner with Internal and External Auditors
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Degrees preferred
- Public Accounting and CPA
- 4 plus years of experience
