Accounting Associate

You’ll join a small, collaborative team supporting a mix of investment and philanthropic activities — giving you exposure beyond traditional small business accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Post and review general ledger and adjusting entries
• Maintain the chart of accounts and reconcile adjusted trial balances
• Complete monthly bank and investment reconciliations
• Set up new accounts and manage reconciliations within QuickBooks
• Assist with document management and support a transition to cloud-based systems
• Handle confidential financial information with discretion and care
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Associate’s with strong experience considered)
• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a small organization, nonprofit, or investment-related setting
• Advanced QuickBooks skills (Online and/or Desktop; certification a plus)
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000, which represents a good faith estimate based on current market data and the firm’s budgeted range for the role. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, education, and qualifications.
