Assistant Controller

KBW has partnered with a growing, industry-leading manufacturer to identify an Assistant Controller for a high-impact leadership opportunity. This role offers strong visibility, career advancement potential, and the chance to work closely with leadership at one of the region’s top organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the month-end close process
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reporting
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting processes, and system efficiencies
• Coordinate domestic and international tax filings and external audit activities
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
• Drive process improvements and participate in operational and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to leadership
• Support the ongoing optimization of ERP and accounting systems

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
• 4 years of accounting experience within public accounting or a mix of public/private industry
• Prior leadership or team management experience
• Strong ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills
