AR Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing organization in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior AR experience looking to join a collaborative finance team in a mission-driven environment with strong work/life balance and hybrid flexibility after training.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments and accurately apply cash within the accounting system
• Research and resolve unapplied or unidentified payments
• Maintain customer accounts including setup, approvals, updates, and ongoing maintenance
• Assist with collections efforts and outbound payment follow-up
• Process customer refunds and purchase order approvals
• Support reconciliations, reporting, and additional finance projects as needed
• Work within existing Excel workbooks and generate reporting for the accounting team
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience
• Comfortable working in Excel including reports, spreadsheets, and basic formulas/functions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and customers
• Comfortable handling high-volume transactional work in a deadline-driven environment
