Accounting Manager

PE backed consumer products company that's growing significantly is seeking an Accounting Manager for their team. This position will report into the Corporate Controller and be involved in the monthly / quarterly close, financial reporting, technical accounting, and controls. In addition to these areas, this position will play a key role in process optimization and implementing new systems, tools, etc. We are targeting candidates with 5-8 years of experience, ideally with a public accounting foundation and CPA.

Responsibilities Include

• Manages the monthly and quarterly close
• Prepare financial reporting packages for the PE firm
• Assist with technical accounting research
• Ensure controls are in compliance with company and industry standards
• Manage a small staff
• Other ad hoc projects with the Controller
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience, ideally with a foundation in public accounting
• Exposure to consumer products, manufacturing, or related industry is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
