Staff Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a long-established, privately held company in Merrimack County, NH, searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an on-site role offering exposure to balance sheet accounting, accounts payable, and process improvement within a growing organization.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Performing month-end journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Completing monthly bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end close in partnership with the Controller
• Processing full-cycle Accounts Payable, including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Assisting with cost accounting, inventory, and budget preparation
• Providing documentation and support for external auditors
• Preparing ad hoc financial reports and assisting with process improvements
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–5 years of general accounting experience (public accounting experience welcomed)
• Experience with an accounting system other than QuickBooks
• Exposure to BI tools preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
  
  

This on-site position and compensation ranges from $70,000–$85,000.
