Finance Manager

Join our client's dynamic team as a Finance Manager in a mostly remote role (with monthly onsite visits in Portsmouth, RI). Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll drive budgeting, forecasting, and digital transformation initiatives, partnering closely with the CFO in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 (DOE) 10–25% bonus (based on performance) and comprehensive benefits.

Location: Mostly remote role based in Portsmouth, RI (local candidates preferred, monthly onsite visits required).

What You’ll Do

• Lead month-end close processes, preparing journal entries and GL/sub-ledger reconciliations.
• Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and board-level reporting packages.
• Support corporate tax workpapers, quarterly tax estimates, and member distributions.
• Drive purchase accounting for new acquisitions and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and collaborate with external auditors.
• Enhance cash flow forecasting to optimize liquidity and financial planning.
• Contribute to process improvements during the NetSuite ERP implementation.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5–6 years in public accounting with expertise in financial reporting and process building.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Certifications: CPA highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong NetSuite experience (preferred); advanced Excel skills required.
• Knowledge: Extensive GAAP knowledge, including new pronouncements; corporate tax experience a plus.
• Skills: Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage leadership.
• Mindset: Hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
