Accounting Manager

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is working with a health and human services client in the Nashua area that is adding an Accounting Manager to the team to lead a small group and be a go to for the Controller on day to day accounting. The organization is well established with a pleasant work environment and competitive pay and benefits. Our client is very motivated to hire and is seeking a candidate that can interview immediately.

The responsibilities for the Accounting Manager will include but will not be limited to:

• Manage a team of four Staff Accountants, provide coaching, development and mentorship
• Manage the month end close process, produce accurate financial statements, P and L review.
• Complex account reconciliations, special projects to support different departments
• Assist with audits, partner with senior managers to provide accurate financial reporting and analysis
• Support the budget process, risk mitigation, strengthen internal controls
  
  

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong attention to detail
• 5 plus years experience in a similar role managing a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent systems skills, Excel, proficiency with mid sized to larger ERP systems
