Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a privately held organization near Dover, New Hampshire to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position offers hands-on involvement in a wide range of accounting tasks across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile general ledger activity, cost center reporting, and preparation of internal financial reports
• Contribute to month and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Support year end audits and tax-related filings
• Treasury operations
• Help oversee invoicing and financial data entry for various departments; ensure accounting practices are followed
• Participate in the preparation of financial reports for management across various departments and funding sources
• Assist with preparation of year-end filings, including 1099s and audit support documentation
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 years of general ledger focused accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting processes
