Job Description:
The desired Legal Assistant will provide support to attorneys, by engaging in the following tasks:
- Assist with complex document production, drafting pleadings, discovery and correspondence (including Bates Stamping)
- Create Table of Contents and Table of Authorities
- Prepare court filings and file with various courts (traditional and e-filings)
- Communicate with court staff regarding various issues
- Handle outgoing and incoming mail/FedEx for assigned attorneys
- Maintain calendars for assigned attorneys
- Prepare Trial Memorandum and calendar all appearances/deadlines
- Schedule Depositions, Mediations, as well as handling all calendaring for assigned attorneys
- Scan and uploads documents to the document management system and creates templates for new files
- Answer telephones taking detailed messages. At request of attorneys, provide follow-up and interact with clients, outside counsel and others
- Other duties, as needed, to support the firm and office operations

Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
