They’re looking for a Data Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, building machine learning systems, and making an immediate impact on real-world power generation operations. What You’ll Do
- Acquire and analyze utility-scale electric power plant process data
- Build and maintain production-ready machine learning pipelines via Azure
- Participate in R&D projects, from ground-up modeling to deployment
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and communicate value-add opportunities
- Document deployments clearly and service customer requests
- Adapt to fast-changing priorities and switch seamlessly between independent work and team brainstorming
What We’re Looking For
- STEM degree (4-year minimum)
- 2 years experience in a similar role with industrial or time-series data
- Fluent in Python & SQL; experience with APIs, statistical modeling, and machine learning concepts
- Experience with production pipelines and research & development
- Knowledge of Azure infrastructure (VPNs, VLANs, NSGs, Gateways) preferred
- Familiarity with front-end visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Experience with OSIsoft PI preferred
