We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Maintenance Pipefitter Supervisor to lead our skilled pipefitter craft team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, effective, and reliable execution of all pipefitter maintenance activities, with a strong focus on implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide clear leadership and direction to the pipefitter crew, prioritizing a safe and compliant work environment.
· Manage daily work assignments, schedules, and quality checks for maintenance jobs.
· Drive continuous improvement by conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing corrective action plans.
· Ensure timely availability of parts, manage requisitions, and utilize the CMMS system effectively.
· Coordinate maintenance activities with other supervisory disciplines and manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
· Maintain positive working relationships with union personnel and assist in diagnosing complex equipment failures.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma/GED required; BS/BA or comparable certification preferred.
· 5-10 years of experience in general industrial maintenance, including mechanical and pipefitting responsibilities.
· Must have welding experience/certifications.
· Proven expertise in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles, including:
o Skilled in PM/PdM (Preventative/Predictive Maintenance).
o Experienced in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
· Demonstrated knowledge of CMMS systems, technical plans/blueprints, and project management skills.
· Strong leadership capabilities and knowledge of business management principles.
